Quantitative Bootcamp for Qualitative Social Scientists (Q4Q) – Howard University
In partnership with Howard University and the Center for an Equitable Economy and Sustainable Society, I co-designed and facilitated a three-week summer intensive for non-STEM undergraduate students. This program helped social science and humanities majors build confidence with data science, modeling, and AI-supported research. Students engaged in inquiry-based projects exploring topics such as housing justice, gendered economic loss, and media representation—using tools like ChatGPT to extend their thinking, analyze data, and prototype narratives grounded in quantitative insight.

A Black Lady Math Class Initiative
A Black Lady Math Class is a joyful, community-rooted initiative that reimagines math as a space of culture, connection, and celebration. From Family Math Nights to pop-up learning events, the initiative centers numeracy and quantitative reasoning through culturally grounded practices—like dice, dominoes, and storytelling. It’s about reclaiming mathematics as a domain of brilliance and belonging for Black women, families, and community educators.
